Dr. Steffen Mencke strengthens the XITASO management team at the Magdeburg location

Since 1 August, Dr. Steffen Mencke has been part of our management team at XITASO Engineering GmbH in Magdeburg. With a degree in Information Technology and his many years of experience in the project business for software development, Mencke has the right professional background and will collaborate with his colleagues to successfully develop the company further.

After completing a degree in Information Technology at Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, Steffen Mencke went on to earn his doctorate in Software Engineering at the same institution. Following this, he worked for ten years at one of the largest European full-service providers for the energy industry. In his most recent position there, he managed the external project business in software development and was instrumental in setting up the Innovation and Business Development division. In addition to his long-standing managerial skills, he can draw on in-depth, practical experience in IT consulting. Steffen Mencke also has particular expertise in agile project management related to digitization and a service-based focus in large companies.
