Development & Integration of a User-Friendly Application

Visual Logic Editor for Power Transformers

The Challenge

A dedicated software module allows operators of power transformers to configure simple logical sequences for correctly controlling and monitoring devices. Until now, this was only possible on-site via the web-based interface of an MR device. The logic could neither be reviewed nor tested in advance, making adjustments time-consuming and error-prone.

The goal was to simplify and modernize these processes: the logic should be manageable centrally, location-independently, and testable before being transferred to the device. In addition, visual programming was to be introduced and seamlessly integrated into the existing digital customer platform. The functional concept was already in place and needed to be efficiently implemented within a tight timeframe.

Reinhausen GmbH

Reinhausen GmbH is a globally leading company in power engineering. Its focus lies on the development and manufacturing of systems for regulating power transformers.

How We Helped

Together with Reinhausen, we systematically analyzed the requirements and translated them into a user-friendly, maintainable solution. Users can now create logical sequences visually, manage them centrally, and safely simulate them in the customer portal before transferring them to the devices. The scalable and secure architecture supports multi-user operation while simultaneously providing a consistent visualization of the logic on MR devices. Despite the tight timeframe, we successfully delivered all planned features and handed them over ready for further internal development.
