Incluso a mis treinta y tantos a\u00f1os, me sigue pareciendo fascinante. No tanto para jugar con ellos, sino porque el proceso de construir y explorar las funciones de una maqueta me entusiasma. Esta vez iba a ser un piano de cola. Enfoque \u00e1gil, incluso fuera del desarrollo de software<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Mientras constru\u00eda, me encontr\u00e9 con un apartado del manual que me record\u00f3 el proceso de desarrollo \u00e1gil que valoramos y vivimos de forma activa y todos los d\u00edas en XITASO.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=\u00bb20″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=\u00bb\u00bb row_type=\u00bbrow\u00bb use_row_as_full_screen_section=\u00bbno\u00bb type=\u00bbfull_width\u00bb angled_section=\u00bbno\u00bb text_align=\u00bbleft\u00bb background_image_as_pattern=\u00bbwithout_pattern\u00bb][vc_column][vc_row_inner row_type=\u00bbrow\u00bb type=\u00bbfull_width\u00bb text_align=\u00bbleft\u00bb css_animation=\u00bb\u00bb][vc_column_inner width=\u00bb1\/2″][vc_column_text]En este apartado, se describ\u00edan los martillos necesarios para el funcionamiento del piano. Al pulsar las teclas en el piano, se tocan las cuerdas del instrumento. As\u00ed pues, es necesario incorporar doce martillos. Podr\u00eda montar todas las teclas en paralelo. Es decir, primero doce veces el paso 1, luego doce veces el paso 2 y as\u00ed sucesivamente. Al finalizar el paso 6, los doce martillos estar\u00edan completamente terminados y ya podr\u00eda montarlos. El otro m\u00e9todo era montar los martillos en serie, es decir, repetir los pasos del 1 al 6 uno detr\u00e1s de otro para cada uno de los martillos, lo que significaba hacerlo todo doce veces. \u00bfCu\u00e1l de las dos variantes resulta m\u00e1s pr\u00e1ctica?<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Para averiguarlo, primero tuve en cuenta el tiempo que se necesitaba y me pregunt\u00e9 si terminar\u00eda m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido con una de las dos variantes. Me di cuenta de que no era as\u00ed, pues el esfuerzo era el mismo en ambos casos.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n me pregunt\u00e9 si el resultado ser\u00eda distinto en funci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo que siguiera. Tampoco ese era el caso, pues al final tendr\u00eda doce martillos en mi teclado, independientemente de la forma en la que lo construyera. \u00bfO no? Porque si se mira todo un poco m\u00e1s de cerca, s\u00ed que se constata realmente una diferencia. Si montaba los doce martillos en paralelo, solo terminar\u00eda todas las piezas en el paso de construcci\u00f3n 6. Es decir, solo entonces ser\u00eda posible utilizar los martillos y tener un teclado que funcionara.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, si montaba los martillos en serie, uno detr\u00e1s de otro, terminar\u00eda el primer martillo en seguida, por lo que podr\u00eda incorporarlo directamente y, as\u00ed, tener partes del teclado en funcionamiento en poco tiempo. Enfoque iterativo e incremental<\/h3>\n

Y precisamente este es el proceso que utilizamos para conseguir resultados r\u00e1pidamente en el desarrollo \u00e1gil de software. Modelamos y construimos el software de tal manera, que procedemos por pasos y podemos presentar a nuestros clientes un producto funcional despu\u00e9s de cada uno de esos pasos. Y, si es necesario, llevamos a cabo m\u00e1s iteraciones.<\/p>\n

Mi conclusi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]El enfoque \u00e1gil presenta numerosas ventajas. No solo para nosotros como desarrolladores de software, sino sobre todo para nuestros clientes. Quiz\u00e1 ya lo ha experimentado por s\u00ed mismo. \u00bfHay algo m\u00e1s molesto que encargar un proyecto y no ver el resultado hasta varios meses despu\u00e9s? En el peor de los casos, el producto puede acabar siendo totalmente distinto de lo esperado, o incluso tener funciones que no se necesitan en absoluto. Es mucho mejor ver r\u00e1pidamente los primeros resultados y poder probar y utilizar uno mismo un producto en una fase temprana.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, esto tambi\u00e9n ofrece la ventaja de que los comentarios del cliente pueden incorporarse mucho antes. Porque si el cliente puede probar y utilizar el producto en esa fase temprana, reconocer\u00e1 a tiempo si el camino que hemos tomado es el correcto o si es necesario introducir correcciones. Y cada vez que tengo que construir varios elementos iguales, no puedo m\u00e1s que sonre\u00edr, pues s\u00e9 exactamente cu\u00e1l es el m\u00e9todo m\u00e1s eficaz.
