PhD student Autonomous Robotics (m/f/d)

You will work full-time with us in an agile research team and pave the way for the use of future technologies in the field of autonomous robotics in cooperation with partners from science and industry.

Alongside this, you will pursue your doctoral project on an exciting and relevant research topic. We will actively support you in finding topics and scientific implementation together with a German university.

These tasks interest you

  • YYou will drive a robotics research project forward together with partners from science and industry and help to open up future innovation topics.
  • You will work self-organized in an agile research team and take on responsibility.
  • You will implement a doctoral project in coordination with your team and your supervising university.
  • You will publish your research results at national and international conferences as well as in relevant journals.
  • You will exchange ideas with XITASO development teams and our customers.
  • You will participate in courses and supervise student theses.

That makes you stand out

  • You have a master’s degree in computer science or a comparable educational path with a good to very good result.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of software development and have a broad understanding of technology and concepts.
  • The state of the art of robotics is not enough for you; you want to push the boundaries.
  • You have the ambition to constantly develop yourself and also to pass on your expertise outside the company boundaries.
  • You communicate openly and honestly with colleagues, partners and customers.
  • You give constructive criticism and accept feedback.

You will learn about possible research projects and topics in the fields of service robotics, human-robot interaction and production during the application process.
